The entrance is about 500 m past Olshevo village towards Lyntupy.
Blue Lakes is a unique hilly lakeland complex of the Belarusian Lakeland: high hills alternate with deep lake basins.
On the trail
- Lysaya Gora viewpoint — lake basins seen from the top of the ridge
- Lakes Glublya, Glubelka and Myortvoye (Blue) amid pine forests
- The Stracha river, viewing platforms, rest spots and the Old Monk pine
- Hilly terrain: climbs, descents and stairs along the esker ridge
No age restrictions — the trail suits adults and children. Due to climbs and stairs it is not passable with a stroller; with small kids choose the short 4 km loop.
What to bring
- Water — there is nowhere to buy it on the trail
- Comfortable closed shoes: the trail crosses rough terrain
- Mosquito and tick repellent (spring–autumn)
- A charged phone with an offline map — and a ticket paid in advance
Visiting rules
Most of the complex is a strict nature reserve: move only along marked routes. Fires, tents and parking on the trail grounds are prohibited.
You can visit the trail on your own or book a guided tour with the National Park's tourism department.
